Extreme Community Makeover (ECM) – 2014 to Present
It all started in June of 2014, when Troy Graham led the team from Restorations Community Church in an ECM work day. As the team leader, Troy was responsible for communicating with ECM, surveying the work that needed to happen, evaluating and dividing the 50-75 volunteers and overseeing all 12-13 small projects during the work day. During the work day volunteers work together in a selected Denver neighborhood transforming the outside of people’s homes by painting, fixing fences, trimming trees, picking up trash and cleaning alleys. Troy has continued to participate in ECM work days annually and currently sits on their Advisory Board.

Community Re-Building – Joplin, MO – 2012
Approximately a year after Troy Graham’s initial trip to Joplin, he helped organized a second group to head down for a few days to help with the re-building. The city was in year 2 of a 5 year recovery plan and although there had been a lot of improvement, there was still a long way to go. Here are some pictures of the second trip.
Disaster Clean Up – Joplin, MO – 2011
On May 22nd, 2011 a catastrophic EF5 tornado tore through the town of Joplin, MO. It was one of the most horrific tornado on record, destroying or damaging 7,500 homes, 550 businesses and taking 161 lives. The scene was like a war zone. After the dust settled and the process of cleaning up began Troy learned that an acquaintance of his who now lives in Denver, was from Joplin and was organizing a group of Volunteers to go down and help with the clean-up. Seeing the devastation in person was un-explainable, it was like nothing he had ever seen. Troy and the group spent 3 days in the 100+ heat cleaning up debris, sorting through piles of construction material, household belongings and unrecognizable items.
